a compact study timetable

Thanks to the lovely folk at NZQA, I’ve been forced into making an early decision on the remaining papers I need to complete. The other day I came home to a cryptic letter about specified and unspecified credit transfers, 100 & 200 level passes, and local prescriptions. It left me rather confused so I sent an email off to the nice Open Polytech people.

The result is I now won’t get a study-free Christmas break this year or next year because I will be busy finishing my papers by Trimester 1 2013. And what’s worse, if I don’t finish by then I have to repeat the first four papers I did — and at $625 + text books per paper, I’m not that keen to repeat them.

So after a bit of thinking and socialising my options with friends, I’ve decided to go down the IT route and my final four papers will be:

  • Information Systems Management
  • Applied Computing
  • Applied Management
  • Fundamentals of Marketing
