surviving the flu

I’m sick. I hate being sick. Since my tonsillectomy a couple of years ago my most sickly complaint was a sniffly nose but unfortunately my good fortune has come to an end.

Yesterday started off okay albeit a little sluggish and feeling cold but by 10am I was in a taxi heading for home. According to Dr Google I have flu symptoms, namely a headache, high fever and chills, fatigue, and aching muscles. I have slept through most of the last 24 hours and could quite easily grab a few more hours now. Thankfully though I don’t have the other telltale signs of coughing, sneezing, and a sore throat [yet!].

So I shall listen to my body which is obviously telling me to slow down and retire to the sofa. Perhaps I will try a dvd again as I didn’t have much luck yesterday. Yesterday I only managed the first and last few minutes of a movie… a bit pointless really.

Been having almost the exact thing that started with a dehydration episode saturday evening.
Going on day three later I am starting to get the sinus problems but have been fighting it with sinus spray to keep them as clear a possible. Ive had a fever since saturday night on and off ranging from a normal 98.6 to 103.

    Feel better.
