There is a privacy about it which no other season gives you…. In spring, summer and fall people sort of have an open season on each other; only in the winter, in the country, can you have longer, quiet stretches when you can savor belonging to yourself. ~Ruth Stout
I is for icicles. There’s definitely something magical about crunching your way across frost-hardened grass.
N is for nimble fingers. These work much better when they are warm and dry.
T is for tramping, tents and travel. Definitely not an enjoyable activity at this time of year.
E is for ear warmers. I recently found a crochet pattern for some. Eeek, quick where did I leave my beanie?
R is for roast chicken. Name one thing better than sharing an old-fashioned Sunday roast meal with family and friends.
