I produced a smile out of everyone in the office today. I don’t usually do presents for people at work but as our office is small, I thought it would be a nice gesture. Originally my plan was to make biscotti but I didn’t want to stuff it up so I went to Plan B.
Plan B was Apricot, Almond, and Coconut Truffles. Half of the batch I coated in shredded coconut and the other half was rolled in icing sugar. I filled a plastic bag with 12 truffles (six of each), wrapped them in red crepe paper and tied them up with gold curling ribbon. The finishing touch was a handmade gift tag tied to each parcel. I was really pleased with the end result so let’s hope they all enjoy them over Christmas 🙂
